Wait. Are you serious? You didn’t know Med School Tutors had a YouTube channel? Okay, well maybe you did. Maybe you already knew what an incredible resource it is for premeds, med students, and residents as they have questions throughout their medical journeys. If that is the case, we’re happy to have been there for you, as that is our mission.
And this past year was…nuts? Can we just say that? It was nuts. We were looking at screens all day long–at them and to them–to guide us, so we are humbled by the response we have received from our subscribers and are truly grateful for your support and enthusiasm for what we do.
But for those of you just joining us, we are thrilled to offer you this gateway to the world of MST videos by sharing the top five most-viewed videos of 2021!
5. Know Thy Shelf: Emergency Medicine
In this webinar with Emergency Medicine resident and Senior USMLE Tutor, Dr. David Delnegro you’ll get tips for how to be successful in your EM clerkship, on your Shelf and Step 2 CK, as well as guidance on resources, how to work with your residents, and more.
4. Know Thy Shelf: Family Medicine
In this webinar, our senior USMLE tutor and pediatric resident, Dr. Annette Gawron not only covers the basics (resources, what to expect on a given day in the clerkship), but also provides LOTS of high yield guidance for the things you MUST KNOW to be successful on your Family Medicine clerkship, Shelf exam and ultimately your Step/Level 2 exam.
3. A Day in the Life of an Otolaryngology (ENT) Resident
Are you considering going into Otolaryngology as your field? In this video, Dr. Aarti Agarwal shares her path into medicine, how she chose ENT as her field, her favorite parts of practicing this type of medicine, what a typical day in the life looks like for her as a resident, and more!
2. How to Study for the USMLE Step 3 & CCS Case Strategies
1. Breaking Down the USMLE Step 3 & CCS Cases — IMG Edition
While this webinar hosted by Dr. Annette Gawron and Dr. Neil Shah is geared toward IMGs, much of what’s discussed is broadly applicable to US MD and DO students as well, and for students taking Step 3 during residency AND during medical school.
But if you’re not quite ready for Step 3 or Shelf exams, do not fret! Our channel has plenty of content on many useful topics ranging from timing your USMLEs to nailing your (currently and possibly forevermore) virtual interviews. Wherever you are on this path, we see you. And now you can see us, too.
