The webinar session was run by Clara Gillan, one of our lead instructors and content developers. Clara discussed strategies that will help students conquer this difficult section of the exam. Unlike the science sections of the MCAT, there is no foundation of content you can build. CARS is testing a skill, not knowledge, which makes it difficult to study and improve. In this session you will learn common strategies, what to focus on, and what to ask yourself. Clara took attendees through a practice passage and questions to demonstrate these strategies live. Unlike the lesson videos included in our class, the Office Hours sessions are not simply a lecture. These webinar sessions are intended to be interactive. Our Office Hours will be conducted by one of our senior MCAT experts and will focus on specific MCAT content, but students will have the ability to ask and answer questions on mic. If you have a question, you can simply type it into the chat box or click the “raise your hand” button and ask.
