The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University is a public law school located in Phoenix. Specific and unique to this school is the first center to examine the legal implications of scientific and technological discoveries, and the Indian Legal Program, which aids tribal governments.

There are 10 different clinics offered in the areas of patent, immigration and tribal law and JD candidates also have a choice of 30 student organizations to gain practical experience. Legal journals include Arizona State Law Journal, Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, and the Law Journal for Social Justice, which is available online.

The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, located in Tucson, was the first law school in the state, founded in 1915. In addition to the JD program, specialized degrees are offered in Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy and International Trade and Business Law in coordination with the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade. 

The school has four student-run journals including the Arizona Law Review, Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law, Arizona Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and Arizona Law Journal of Emerging Technologies. In addition, the Journal of Appellate Practice and Process was acquired from the University of Arkansas. 

The application deadline is July 15, giving you ample time to submit. There is no fee and tuition is on the lower end at $30,334 for full-time out-of-state students.
