It’s March, which means there are a few things on your To Do list. Set your clocks ahead for daylight saving time (check). Remember to call it daylight saving time and not daylight savings time, because time is a construct and it is not trying to like, deposit daylight into a bank account at Wells Fargo (check). Fill out your college basketball springtime tournament of chaos bracket (we’ll get around to it). Remember that referring to said college basketball tournament as “M—- M——” risks infringing upon the NCAA’s intellectual property and courts legal retaliation (check). Find something green to wear on St. Patrick’s Day (umm, I’m pretty sure I have an old t-shirt somewhere). Remember to Google why we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day so that one pedantic friend of yours doesn’t correct you on St. Patrick’s Day (still need to get around to that — I think it’s about snakes or Protestants or something though). And so on.

For many of you reading this blog, two items on this March To Do list are “Start studying for the June or July LSAT” and “Get started on law school applications.” And let’s face it, these are more daunting items than filling out a college basketball bracket. LSAT Webinar: Thursday, March 15th, at 12 pm PDT

First up will be the LSAT Webinar, which will be held at noon Pacific (that’s 3 pm Eastern, for our math-challenged pals). In this webinar, Blueprint instructor and veritable LSAT nerd Ross Rinehart will go over everything you need to know to kick off your LSAT studies. The webinar will cover what’s on the exam, how it’s scored, and how law schools will factor your LSAT score into your application. You’ll also do a few real LSAT problems together, to get a taste of the exam.

Law School Admissions Webinar: Thursday, March 15th at 6 pm PDT

Later in the evening, at 6 pm Pacific, we’ll host the Law School Admissions Webinar. Blueprint instructor, University of Chicago Law grad, and all-around swell guy Kyle Gehrmann will cover how to compile your law school application. Important issues like when to get started, how to ask for a letter of recommendation, and what to write your personal statement about will be discussed. You’ll even have the opportunity to ask Kyle, who has already helped countless students reach law school, questions about your own application.
