Ranked 82nd in research, the school is committed to producing inquisitive and socially conscious graduates who help communities access excellent medical care. 

The school also partners with physicians and hospitals across the state where third and fourth-year students can develop their skills and learn about the different types of medical practices that cater to patient care. 

By the end of the program, the school aims to have each student demonstrate excellent knowledge of medicine, research skills, a good ethical grounding, and good communication skills.
