The college aims to nurture and educate students who will become knowledgeable physicians and creative research professionals of tomorrow. The curriculum is committed to inculcating compassionate values, ethics, and a good bedside manner.

The first two years of the M.D. program at SKMC focus on foundational science and scholarly work delivered through lectures, small-group seminars, workshops, team-based and problem-based learning, and online classes. From the end of their second year, students complete four clerkships of 12 weeks each while their research work and classroom learning continue alongside.
