Ep #54: ADHD with Tyler Dorsey

  • May 10, 2023

I’m so excited to introduce you to a personal friend of mine this week. Tyler Dorsey isn’t an NP, but we’re letting her into our real deal NP club because she’s got some gems to share with us on this episode.

Tyler is an ADHD coach who helps kids, students, and adults with ADHD manage their diagnosis in a way that allows them to thrive. As someone with ADHD herself, she knows full well the feeling of just barely staying afloat, and when the statistics show how women generally get diagnosed later in life, this is all information we can benefit from.

Join us this week as Tyler shares her wisdom on managing ADHD during NP school, exams, and everywhere else in your life. She’s identifying some of the biggest signals of ADHD, how anxiety and ADHD can often get mixed up, and her practical strategies for setting yourself up for success.

My team and I are so excited to announce the release of our new Question Bank! This resource is filled with 1000 questions, and we’ll be adding questions and writing new ones every month, so get your hands on it here!

I have communities available for both students and new nurse practitioners. In these communities, we work to uplift one another and grow this profession together every single day. If this kind of support is what you need, I invite you to join! Click here if you’re a student, and click here if you’re a new NP.

What You Will Discover:

  • Tyler’s personal journey with ADHD and how she turned it into a business.
  • The difference in how ADHD presents in women and men.
  • Why ADHD is usually diagnosed later in life for women.
  • Some of the biggest signals of ADHD.
