    Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) is one of the best colleges in the country, as well as one of the oldest, established in 1824. The college has awarded more than 31,000 medical degrees over the years and has alumni in some of the most prestigious hospitals and academic institutes in the country. The college aims to nurture and educate students who will become knowledgeable physicians and creative research professionals of tomorrow. The curriculum is committed to inculcating compassionate values, ethics, and a good bedside manner.

    The first two years of the M.D. program at SKMC focus on foundational science and scholarly work delivered through lectures, small-group seminars, workshops, team-based and problem-based learning, and online classes. From the end of their second year, students complete four clerkships of 12 weeks each while their research work and classroom learning continue alongside. In the spring of the third year, students are encouraged to explore their areas of interest and develop the skills needed to secure their residencies in those fields. By the end of their 45 months at SKMC, student applicants will also have ample time to apply and prepare for their post-graduate studies.
