Premed students have options once they complete their undergrad studies. Some immediately enter medical school while some students, who are interested in bringing up their grades or focusing on a more specialized field, begin a post baccalaureate or Master’s program. Temple University’s Center for Bioethics, Urban Health and Policy offers a Master of Arts in Urban Bioethics.
Urban Bioethics is a relatively new and growing field that many students may not have heard of. Next Step has partnered with Temple University to discuss what Urban Bioethics is and what students would be studying if they chose to enter the program.
A program like this would interest students who are aware of what is going on in the world around them and are interested in changing things for the better. This degree can be earned as a stand-alone degree or alongside a medical degree, meaning you can earn your MA without postponing your dreams of becoming a doctor.
Check out this webinar to learn what this program is about and how you can help change the world for the better.
