The Chem/Phys section of the MCAT comprises of 59 questions that can be broken down into the following:

Basic Biochemistry
Introductory Biology
General Chemistry
Organic Chemistry
Introductory Physics

Among the many topics that can be covered in this section, two of them are Electrostatics and Magnetism. In this session, Next Step MCAT instructor Phil Hawkins takes students through a deep dive of electromagnetism, the difference between the two topics and how they will be tested on the MCAT. Students will also have the opportunity to work through sample questions. Hawkins scored in the 99th percentile on his own MCAT and has ten years of teaching and tutoring experience.

Our goal at Next Step is to make sure that you have the resources needed to prepare for the MCAT and your future career.
