If you are getting started with your MCAT prep, it is highly recommended that you begin with a diagnostic exam. In this webinar, Next Step’s resident MCAT expert, Bryan Schnedeker, discussed how to gauge your readiness based on your diagnostic score.

Medical schools want the most competitive applicants possible, so your score on the MCAT is important. Bryan discusses what range schools are looking for and what score you should be aiming to achieve. He helps students determine how much time they should set aside for prep based on their diagnostic score.

There are many different ways to succeed on the MCAT, but you need to find what works best for you. Bryan lays out two common strategies test takers use on test day and goes over a practice psychology passage to show students how to put those strategies into practice. He also shares his top five MCAT study tips.

Bryan then hands the webinar over to Linda Abraham of Linda discusses why the MCAT is important and what it is that schools are looking at when it comes to applications. The MCAT is just the beginning of the med school admissions process and your MCAT score can make a big difference in how you approach applications.

Check out the recording below to see what MCAT score you want to aim for and how can help you get into medical school.
