The CARS section of the MCAT exam is significantly different than the other sections you will face on Test Day. Unlike the other sections, there is no foundation of content to rely on. The CARS section does not rely on rote memorization, instead it relies on a set of skills. So, it should come as no surprise that MCAT test-takers often find this section to be the most difficult of the MCAT by far.
Phil Hawkins, one of Next Step’s MCAT Course instructors and tutors, led students through this CARS Super Review. Phil led attendees through a brief exam overview, including the subjects tested and high-yield topics to note. He also discussed general MCAT strategy and exam review before diving into a thorough review of the CARS section, with a live practice passage.
